On December 16, the last offshore wind turbine of the IV1 project at the Zhuanghe Haiyu Offshore Wind Farm Site in Dalian City, Liaoning Province was successfully installed.

This marks the completion of the main works of the offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity and the highest latitude in northern China, and the grid-connected power generation of the project has entered the "countdown" stage.

The Huaneng Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore Wind Farm Site IV1 project undertaken by China Railway Construction Port and Shipping Administration is located in the sea area east of Shicheng Island, Zhuanghe City, Dalian. It will become China's highest latitude offshore wind farm.

The project has an installed capacity of 350 MW, and the estimated annual on-grid power can reach 960 million kwh, which can meet the annual electricity demand of 960,000 households.

Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same scale, it is equivalent to saving 308,000 tons of standard coal and reducing pollutant emissions by 663,000 tons. The overall economic and environmental benefits are considerable.

Since the project officially started construction on March 24 this year, the project department has overcome disadvantages such as complex hydrometeorological and geological conditions in open seas, frequent storm surges in temperate zones, low temperature environments in high latitude seas in winter, and the impact of the new crown epidemic. The project has achieved " The goal of starting construction in the same year and completing the full capacity in the same year will shorten the construction period of offshore wind power projects of the same scale and conditions by nearly half.

During the construction of the project, the project department independently designed and manufactured tools and equipment suitable for the installation of different types of wind turbines, creating a 46-hour record for the fastest installation of a single domestic offshore wind turbine of the same level. The installation of 12 wind turbines per ship per month refreshed the northern offshore wind turbines. Install a new record.

In addition, the project has successfully overcome the problems of the integral hoisting of super large components, and successfully completed the integral hoisting of the sea booster station of over 3650 tons.

At present, the project has fully entered the grid-connected debugging stage.

After the project is put into operation as a whole, it will be of great significance for promoting the transformation and upgrading of the local energy structure and accelerating the realization of the "dual carbon" goal.
