As the agency was told in a number of credit institutions, Russian banks plan to raise interest rates on their products following the increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia.

At its last meeting in 2021, the Bank of Russia raised its key rate from 7.5% to 8.5% per annum.

Earlier, the FBA "Economics Today" reported that the level of annual inflation in Russia as of September 6, 2021 reached 6.74%.
