In order to preserve the purchasing power of the most vulnerable French people, faced with rising energy and fuel prices, the government has decided to pay "inflation compensation" of 100 euros tax-free. But the real estate company, Nexity, goes further and doubles the amount of this energy check for 3,000 of its employees affected by this measure.

To cope with the rise in energy and fuel prices, the government announced last September "the establishment of exceptional social assistance of 100 euros for all households who benefit from the energy check".

Aid exempt from social contributions and not taxable, for employees whose monthly remuneration is less than 2,000 euros net.

The real estate company Nexity will double this premium for its employees, announced Véronique Bédague, CEO of Nexity, in La France bouge.

"Our reason for being: living together"

"Nexity is really a company built on cohesion and inclusion, our raison d'être is simple, it is living together", launched Véronique Bédague on Europe 1.

First real estate company with more than 2,500 employees, ranked in the best workplaces ranking in the Great Place to Work category, Nexity has therefore decided to continue its commitments for its employees.

"For Nexity, getting involved for our employees also means supporting their purchasing power. This is why we have decided to double the inflation compensation of 100 euros announced by the government for 3,000 employees affected by this measure" , said the general manager.

"We wanted to say thank you to our employees," added Véronique Bédague.

These two bonuses will be paid to beneficiaries on the pay slip for the month of December 2021. In total, nearly 3,000 employees in all Group entities (including fixed-term contracts) are affected by this system, out of a total of 8,500.
