Airbus literally crushes Boeing.

In quick succession, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has recorded very symbolic orders.

The latest is that announced Thursday evening by Air France-KLM: the Franco-Dutch company has ordered 100 A320neo.

The European aircraft manufacturer must now be up to the task.

Airbus literally knocked out Boeing Air France-KLM has ordered 100 A320neos and has made 60 additional options for this single-aisle aircraft.

These aircraft with a single aisle and seats on each side are therefore small aircraft very suitable for medium-haul flights.

These planes will replace the aging Boeings of KLM and Transavia Netherlands and will also help strengthen Transavia France's current fleet.

It's a very symbolic order, because until then, it was Boeing that had this market.

If the company changes gear, it is because it believes that these planes will make it possible to bring in more people while being very economical from a fuel point of view.

Same reflection at Qantas: the Australian company is also for the first time an infidelity to Boeing for its medium-haul aircraft.

Airbus must reassure

So now, we will have to deliver on the Airbus side, as they say.

The European aircraft manufacturer has in fact more than 6,000 single-aisle aircraft on order, which represents at least eight years of contract.

But Airbus will try to increase the production rate to try to succeed in delivering more quickly and above all not to scare any companies which would also be interested in this plane, and which would need it quickly.
