According to Diaz, Gazprom has found a way to sell the maximum possible amount of gas in such a way as not to increase the volume on the market to the point at which the market price begins to decline.
He noted that this could motivate more countries to invest in renewable energy sources to protect against similar surges in the energy market in the future.
Earlier it became known that Gazprom has fulfilled its obligations under the transit agreement with Ukraine for 2021.
