The number of hotel rooms in Dubai until last October reached 134,47 thousand rooms of various categories, within 736 hotels and hotel apartment facilities.

5-star hotels accounted for 34% of the total number of rooms with 45.77 thousand rooms in 137 hotels.

The number of 4-star hotels reached 174, comprising 38.8 thousand hotel rooms, while the number of star- and 3-star hotels reached 239, comprising about 24.1 thousand hotel rooms, in addition to hotel apartments.

In terms of regions, the data showed that Western Europe accounted for 20% of the total number of visitors coming to Dubai, then South Asia, which accounted for 19% of the total visitors to the emirate, while the share of Russia and the CIS region was 16%. Visitors from the Middle East region account for 14% of the total visitors to the emirate, 11% of visitors to Dubai from the Gulf Cooperation Council, 9% from Africa, 7% from the Americas, and 4% from North Asian countries.

The data revealed that the average occupancy of 5-star rooms reached 57%, while the occupancy of 4-star hotels increased to 63%, while the average occupancy of 3-star hotel rooms reached 66%.

India maintained the lead in exporting markets for Dubai visitors during the first 10 months of this year, with 667,000 visitors, Russia came in second with 311,000 visitors, Saudi Arabia ranked third with 271,000 visitors, and the United Kingdom ranked fourth with 235,000 visitors. Visitors during the period from January to the end of last October, followed by the United States with 203 thousand visitors, followed by France with 98 thousand visitors.
