“The company turned to non-residential consumers with a request to fulfill their payment obligations ... and also to additionally consider the possibility of advance payment until December 20, 2021 of the cost of gas consumed in the first half of December this year,” the Moldovagaz press service said.

It is clarified that with such a request the company turned to non-residential consumers in order to "minimize the risks of limiting supplies after December 20 of this year."

Earlier, the official representative of Gazprom, Sergei Kupriyanov, said that the fact that Moldova needed budgetary funds for payments for gas in November speaks of systemic problems in the energy sector of the republic.
