Five days before the entry into service of the trains connecting the city of Milan to Paris, via Turin and Lyon, zoom on the company Trenitalia which is shaking up the rail market in France.

What does the Italian company offer, which targets business customers?

Decryption.

It is an entry into the rail market that risks upsetting the existing chessboard.

On December 18, the first trains signed by Trenitalia will travel through France, with the Milan-Turin-Lyon-Paris line, with stops also scheduled in Modane and Chambéry, in Savoie.

Tickets are already online.

But what to expect from this new offer?

Trenitalia will initially provide two round trips per day between Paris and Milan, but the company already plans to add three more next year.

Recent trains from 2014, more technological and environmentally friendly, on board which you will find an Italian design.

Tiramisus brought to your seat

The catering service will also be 100% local: the menu, available from the multimedia platform, which also provides access to films and music, is made up of an Italian offer.

Your tiramisu can even be brought to you ... at your seat!

The only big question mark that persists concerns prices, which start at 23 euros for a Paris-Lyon trip, but which will change according to attendance.

Moreover, Trenitalia focuses on business customers, in addition to first class.

It offers an Executive class at the fixed price of 139 euros and even a meeting room.

As of today, you can buy your tickets on the operator's website and in its shops at the station.

The terminals and the application will be available within a week.
