Arrived Sunday evening in Abu Dhabi, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke today with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed.

This visit, like that of the Israeli Foreign Minister last June, meets little local echo.

This is yet another low-key visit by an Israeli official to the United Arab Emirates.

For his arrival in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett was certainly received by the head of the diplomacy of the Emirates, Abdallah bin Zayed al-Nahyane.

But the international media were not invited.

The local press, however, did not expand on what is the first visit of a head of government of the Hebrew state in the Arab monarchy of the Gulf.

During an interview with the official news agency of the Emirates, Naftali Bennett nonetheless underlined the “

potential

of trade relations between the two countries.

The agreement on this point is, indeed, idyllic.

Bilateral non-oil trade amounts to $ 700 million in one year. 

Another less consensual issue this time has certainly been discussed with

the Crown Prince of the Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed
