The main problems found were excessive pesticide residues, heavy metal pollution, excessive use of food additives, and substandard quality indicators.

  For unqualified foods found in random inspections, the State Administration of Market Supervision has instructed provincial market supervision departments such as Tianjin, Jilin, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan, etc. to immediately organize verification and disposal, find out the flow of products, and urge enterprises to take off-shelf recalls.
