Starting tomorrow (13th), you will also need a quarantine pass to go to restaurants and cafes. This means proof of vaccination or negative confirmation is required. Violation will result in fines for both the guest and the owner, but it is okay for a guest to go alone without a pass.

The quarantine pass that was applied to entertainment facilities and karaoke rooms will be extended to restaurants and cafes from tomorrow.

After the one-week training period is over, the quarantine authorities will make it mandatory for 11 multi-use facilities, including restaurants, cafes, academies, and movie theaters, to apply the quarantine pass from tomorrow.

To use the quarantine pass-applied facilities, you must submit a corona vaccination certificate or PCR negative confirmation.

[Lee Ki-il / Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters 1st Controller: I will tell you that penalties apply. We ask for active cooperation from business owners and users so that the quarantine pass can be well established on site.]

However, since restaurants and cafes are essential facilities, you do not need to submit a confirmation letter when using them alone.

Users who violate the guidelines will be subject to a fine of up to 100,000 won.

The facility operator will be fined at least 1.5 million won, and if it is violated 4 times or more, the facility may be closed.

Starting tomorrow, reservations for booster shots for adults 18 years of age and older will also begin.

Adults who have passed 3 months or 90 days from the date of the second dose can receive the booster shot from the 15th after making a reservation in advance.

Vaccinations for teenagers at schools will start in earnest from the 15th, and as of yesterday, 8433 people nationwide applied for it.

As the spread of Corona continues, some argue that strong measures such as lockdown should be taken, but the government is not considering it for now.

However, as it was foretold that special measures could be announced, attention is focused on additional quarantine measures.
