The 13th Straits Forum is ready

This forum will be carried out in both online and offline ways, inviting 5,000 guests from all walks of life, including representatives of relevant political parties in Taiwan, representatives of Taiwan organizers, and Taiwan’s industry elites, heads of associations, industrial and youth women, towns and villages, agriculture, fisheries and water conservancy, etc. During the period, about 2,000 Taiwanese guests were invited.
The forum continued with the theme of "expanding non-governmental exchanges and deepening integration and development". There were 41 events in the four exchange sections of the forum, youth exchanges, grassroots exchanges, cultural exchanges, and economic exchanges. In terms of youth exchanges, the forum highlights the characteristics and needs of cross-strait youth integration and innovation, and further organizes activities such as the Cross-Strait Youth Forum and Cross-Strait Creative Graffiti Competition, and newly organizes Fujian-Taiwan Science and Technology Education Integration Development Activities, Cross-Strait New Media Development and Exchange Forum, and Fujian-Taiwan New Media Development and Exchange Forum. Zhong Zhigang said that this forum closely follows the "14th Five-Year" development plan and focuses on selected topics of current economic development, sharing and demonstrating cross-strait innovation and integration development and the comprehensive promotion of high-quality development in the post-epidemic era in Fujian.
The forum will also discuss cross-strait township construction, forest rehabilitation, high-tech industry docking, Fujian-Taiwan 5G smart communications, energy and power cooperation, etc.
At the same time, through the holding of Taiwan Talents Southwest Fujian (Xiamen) Matchmaking Conference, Fujian-Taiwan Youth Business Forum, and Industrial Youth Women’s Exchange Activities, more than 1,600 high-quality internship jobs were provided for Taiwanese youth.
In demonstrating the effectiveness of integrated development, this forum will organize exchange activities such as the Cross-Strait Business Cooperation Forum, the Strait Financial Forum and the Taiwan Enterprise Development Summit, and invite representative Taiwanese and Taiwanese companies in various fields to combine their own experiences and in-depth talk about their employment.
