Central Bank: Banks will work 6 working days, including Fridays

The Central Bank sent a notice to all banks operating in the country informing them of the necessity of opening their branch halls to provide their services to the public at least five hours a day and for a period of six days, including Fridays.

It is left to the banks to determine the working hours and days of the administration and offices as needed and to implement the application of the shift system for the branches in accordance with the laws in force in the country.

The circular excluded working hours during the holy month of Ramadan, as they are subject to the notifications of the Central Bank in this regard.

These instructions will become effective as of January 2, 2022, and he pointed out that banks should announce this in an appropriate manner to their customers, as usual.
