The global head of retail banking at ADIB, Philip King, explained during a press conference that the first phase of the platform includes 35 car brands, and includes more than 770 different cars, noting that partnerships have been established with most car dealers in the UAE.

He added that the "Turbo" platform provides an electronic calculator to determine the budget for the purchase of the car and estimate the amount of financing, so that it provides customers with a list of vehicles based on the specified budget, and after selecting the appropriate car, it is possible to schedule a test drive through the platform with the seller directly.

King stated that Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is the first Islamic bank in the world to launch a comprehensive digital system for vehicles, pointing out that the bank intends to provide the system with a broader package of value-added benefits, such as the inclusion of a larger number of car service providers and car dealerships.

In response to a question for "Emirates Today", King said that the platform provides faster financing for customers in the automotive sector, as it includes a specific mechanism that identifies customers who are eligible to obtain financing, which allows for quick approval of financing faster than traditional methods.
