From the start of his magnificent career, Jean-Paul Belmondo devoted part of his fortune to his passion for fine mechanics.

Besides two Aston Martin DB5s, an AC Bristol or a Lotus Elan, the French actor owned many Ferraris from the 1960s until the end of his life.

At the end of 1985, he fell in love with a silver-gray BB 512i that he bought used.

Equipped with a 5-liter flat 12-cylinder engine, this racing car developed 340 hp and could reach speeds of 280 km / h, which was more than honorable at the time.

Jean-Paul Belmondo sporadically used the car until 2002, before parting with it.

After being used by a French couple, it is sold to a collector who has it fully restored by the “Classiche” department of the prancing horse brand.

Today in competition condition, it will be auctioned on December 12 by the Aguttes house.

Due to its prestigious provenance and its complete renovation, it is estimated between 350,000 and 450,000 €.
