This is the first direct international railway freight train from Chengdu-Chongqing after the completion of the China-Laos Railway.

  The products that Chengdu exports to Laos this time are light commercial trucks produced by Chengdu Qingbaijiang local company Heavy Duty Truck Chengshang. The products mainly serve the development of local construction, mining and agriculture in Laos.

In the past, Sinotruk Chengshang Automobile exported products to Vientiane, Laos, and could only rely on roads to deliver goods from Chengdu to Jingmohan Port to Vientiane, Laos. The whole journey was about 2,000 kilometers and took about 10 days.
