Last month, Korea's exports broke the $60 billion mark for the first time on a monthly basis, hitting an all-time high.



The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced today (1st) that the export amount for November was 60.4 billion dollars, up 32.1% from the same period last year.



This is the largest monthly basis since the start of compiling trade statistics in 1956.



The previous high was $55.92 billion (fixed) in September, breaking the record again for the first time in two months.



As a result, monthly exports have continued to increase for 13 consecutive months since November last year.



It also recorded double-digit export growth for the ninth consecutive month.



Imports rose 43.6% to $57.36 billion.



As a result, the trade balance recorded a surplus of $3.09 billion for the 19th consecutive month.
