Immediate licensing of 10.7 thousand business establishments in Dubai within 10 months

The commercial registration and licensing sector in the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai issued 10,707 licenses, immediately, during the first 10 months of 2021.

The report highlighted the distribution of immediate licenses issued during the first 10 months of 2021, according to the main regions in the Emirate of Dubai, as the largest share was the "Bur Dubai" region with a total of 9,451 licenses, then the Deira region with a total of 1,256 licenses.

As for the distribution of these licenses according to the most prominent sub-regions, they were as follows: Al Fahidi, Burj Khalifa, Al Murar, Al Karama, Al Mankhool, First Trade Center, Naif, Port Saeed, Al Nahda First, and Al Muraqqabat.


Legal form

The legal forms of an immediate license include four types: a limited liability company, a one-person company, a sole proprietorship, and a civil business company.

The immediate licenses issued during the first 10 months of 2021 were distributed according to the legal form, as "civil works" topped 38%, followed by individual institutions with 25%, then limited liability companies by 23%, and finally limited liability companies - one person by 14%.

License Features

The "Instant License" initiative contributes to reducing human interaction by automating the licensing procedures.
