China's Ministry of Finance issues multiple budgets for 2022 ahead of schedule

  China News Service, Beijing, November 26 (Reporter Zhao Jianhua) Entering the fourth quarter, the Ministry of Finance of China issued a number of 2022 budgets in advance to improve the integrity of local budgets and speed up the progress of expenditures.

The fund budget issued in advance recently involves many areas such as subsidies for urban affordable housing projects from the central government, medical security for preferential care recipients, and education.

  Including the early release of 304.1 billion yuan (RMB, the same below) for the county-level basic financial guarantee mechanism rewards and subsidies for 2022.

The Ministry of Finance requires all localities to ensure that the data is true, the accounts are clear, and the flow is clear.

The grassroots treasury shall coordinate the direct funds from the central government to benefit enterprises and the people, actively improve people's livelihood, and promote social harmony.

  It also includes the early release of a budget of 52.6 billion yuan for subsidies for some of the central government’s urban affordable housing projects in 2022.

The Ministry of Finance requires that the funds be allocated and used in accordance with the prescribed procedures after the start of the 2022 budget year, and are specifically used for the transformation of urban shanty towns. Rental subsidies are provided to eligible families who rent housing on the market, and the transformation of old urban communities. And the second batch of central government supports the pilot housing leasing market development.

  In addition, the Ministry of Finance and other departments recently issued a budget of 313.149 million yuan in advance to support the reform and development of local colleges and universities in 2022, a budget of 24.922.26 million yuan in the modern vocational education quality improvement plan in 2022, and a budget of 631.18 million yuan in subsidies for the free opening of science and technology museums in 2022.

  The Ministry of Finance stated that when all localities allocate funds to support the reform and development of local colleges and universities, they should focus on difficult areas and weak links, and favor colleges with high school quality and distinctive characteristics; when allocating funds for modern vocational education quality improvement plans, they should focus on difficulties. Regions and weak links are tilted to vocational colleges with high school quality and distinctive characteristics.
