China News Service, November 26. The website of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced on the 26th October 2021 China’s foreign exchange market transaction profile data.

Statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in October 2021, China’s foreign exchange market (excluding foreign currency pair markets, the same below) had a total turnover of 17.31 trillion yuan (equivalent to US$2.7 trillion).

Among them, bank-to-customer market transactions were 2.54 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.4 trillion U.S. dollars), and inter-bank market transactions were 14.76 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.3 trillion U.S. dollars); the spot market had a cumulative transaction of 7.11 trillion yuan ( The value of 1.11 trillion U.S. dollars), the derivatives market has a total of 10.2 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.59 trillion U.S. dollars).

  From January to October 2021, a total of 191.49 trillion yuan (equivalent to 29.61 trillion US dollars) was traded in China's foreign exchange market.
