Suzuki, an automobile manufacturer, has notified the country of a recall of more than 180,000 units, saying that there is a risk that the engine will stop in four models such as the "Hustler" due to a defect in the parts that control the valve that emits exhaust gas.

The targets of the recall are Suzuki's "Hustler" and "Spacia" manufactured from April 2017 to December 2017, and "Flare Crossover" and "Flare Wagon" manufactured by Suzuki and sold by Mazda. There are more than 188,000 units in the four models.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the target vehicle is equipped with a valve that emits exhaust gas to the engine under the hood, but water that enters from the front of the vehicle penetrates the parts that control the valve and causes rust. It means that it may end up.

As a result, control is lost, the engine may stop unintentionally when the vehicle is stopped, and although there are no reports of accidents, 103 similar defect information has been received.

As a result of a series of investigations of defect information from users, the cause was identified, and Suzuki and Mazda have decided to repair the target vehicle free of charge through dealers nationwide.
