Among them, exports were 1.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50%; imports were 90 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62%.
ASEAN countries are distributed along the "Belt and Road". With the implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative, in recent years, Ningxia's agricultural products, mechanical and electrical products and other major exports have continued to be popular in the countries along the "Belt and Road".
Currently, ASEAN countries are still one of Ningxia's stable trading partners.
In this year’s trade with ASEAN countries, Ningxia’s private enterprises’ imports and exports to ASEAN were 1.54 billion yuan, an increase of 48.5%, accounting for 82.3% of Ningxia’s total imports and exports to ASEAN in the same period.
In the same period, the import and export of foreign-invested enterprises was 130 million yuan, an increase of 209.8%, more than twice.
At the same time, Ningxia's products exported to ASEAN countries are mainly mechanical and electrical products, agricultural products, and pharmaceuticals, while imported products are mainly rubber and mechanical and electrical products.
