This year coincides with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN.

At the 30th Anniversary Summit of the China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations held by video on the 22nd, China and ASEAN formally announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

The ASEAN personages said that over the past 30 years, China-ASEAN cooperation has been vigorously, and the relationship between the two sides has been continuously improved and deepened. They look forward to working together in the future to boost economic and trade relations to the next level.

The two sides are advancing the "One Belt One Road" initiative and the "ASEAN Connectivity Master Plan 2025" docking, to jointly respond to challenges and promote the recovery and growth of the world economy.

Qinma Mamiao, a professor at the School of International Relations at Yangon University, Myanmar, told reporters that the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and ASEAN is a new milestone in the history of bilateral relations. It will further promote the building of the ASEAN community and help ASEAN countries achieve their development goals.

China and ASEAN are good neighbors, good friends and good partners.

Over the past 30 years, the scale of trade between China and ASEAN has increased 85 times, achieving a historic breakthrough in becoming each other's largest trading partners.

The Philippine companies that entered China in the early 1990s, Shanghaojia, are participants and witnesses of the continuous expansion of economic and trade exchanges between China and ASEAN.

From the first factory in Shanghai to 14 factories across the country, Shanghaojia's business expansion is accompanied by the opening up and development of China's economy.

Today, China has become Shanghaojia's largest market, accounting for nearly 40% of its business volume.
