During the meeting, the minister turned to Putin, noting that the state-owned companies, even the funds that were announced as planned for the implementation of Russian software, "spent exactly half as much."

According to the Ministry of Digital Science, in 2019 and 2020 alone, the Russian market lost about 70 billion rubles, which should have been received under the approved programs for the transition to domestic software.

“We should probably introduce personal responsibility of the heads of state-owned companies for the achievement of those indicators that are in the plan,” Shadayev said.

Putin agreed with the need to increase the responsibility of the heads of state-owned companies.

“Colleagues should understand that at some point even what they use today, for obvious reasons, now we will not talk about sad things, it may be closed, and they will not be ready.

And if they are not ready, they will be held accountable, ”the head of state said.

The Russian government intends to carry out digital transformation in industry, in particular, it will focus on the implementation of Russian solutions in the field of information technology at enterprises.
