The terms of these contracts are not as long as before, they can range from 3 to 10 years, ”RIA Novosti quotes Dönmeza as saying.

The minister suggested that the deal will be completed by the end of this year.

He added that the new contract will include "the ability to increase supplies in accordance with needs." 

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the country has no problems with gas supply, including thanks to agreements with Russia.
