The reporter learned from the Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau on the 23rd that up to now, the province has supplied 21.87 million tons of electric coal to 14 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

According to statistics from the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics, in the first 10 months of this year, Shanxi’s coal output was 980 million tons, an increase of 11.1%.

　　At the end of September, Shanxi signed contracts with 14 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities including Hebei, Shandong, Guangxi, and Tianjin to guarantee the supply of coal in the fourth quarter to ensure energy supply.

　　Among them, Shanxi’s largest coal-producing company Jinneng Holding Group is responsible for the fourth-quarter guarantee of supply in 6 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Guangxi, Jiangsu, Jilin, Anhui, Shanghai, and Zhejiang; Shanxi Coking Coal Group, Huayang New Materials Group, and Lu’an Chemical Group respectively Undertake the task of guaranteeing supply in Henan, Hainan and Shandong; the remaining tasks of guaranteeing supply are undertaken by coal enterprises in Shanxi Province.

Up to now, Shanxi Province’s power generation and heating companies have signed up to 43.14 million tons of medium- and long-term contracts, and a total of 115.57 million tons have been signed throughout the year, and the coverage rate has reached 100%.

At the same time, we will make every effort to stabilize the power delivery to ensure the safety of electricity in the capital area.
