  After the trial, it was found that since 2018, the defendant Liang Yongping has established Wuhan Chain World Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Kuaiyixing Technology Co., Ltd., instructing Wang Mouhang (to be handled in another case) to hire Wan Mou, Xu, Xiong, and Jiang.   After auditing and appraisal, there are 32,824 unauthorized film and television works on the "Renren Film and Television Subtitle Group" website and related clients, with a total of approximately 6.83 million members.

During the period, the defendant Liang Yongping collected membership fees through the websites and clients involved in the case in the name of accepting “donations”; instructed Xie Mouxiang (a separate case dealt with) to solicit advertisements and collect them in the name of companies such as Guangxi Sanjiang County Hailianyun Technology Co., Ltd. Advertising costs; refers to Cong Moumou (a separate case dealt with) to sell external hard drives with unauthorized copies of film and television works.

Upon audit, from January 2018 to the incident, through the above channels, the total amount of illegal business operations amounted to more than RMB 12 million.

On January 6, 2021, the defendant Liang Yongping was arrested by public security officers at his place of residence and brought to justice. After arriving in the case, he truthfully confessed the facts of the crime.

  The Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court found that the defendant Liang Yongping copied and distributed the works of others without the permission of the copyright owner for profit-making purposes, which belonged to other particularly serious circumstances, and his actions constituted the crime of copyright infringement and should be punished in accordance with the law.

In a joint crime, the defendant Liang Yongping played the main role. He was the principal offender and should be punished in accordance with all the crimes he participated in, organized, or directed.

The defendant Liang Yongping confessed his crimes truthfully after arriving at the case, and he confessed that he could be given a lighter punishment.

The defendant Liang Yongping voluntarily pleaded guilty and pleaded guilty after arriving in the case, and paid part of the fine in advance, which can be dealt with leniently.

Based on the crime facts, nature, circumstances, and the degree of harm to society in this case, it was decided that Liang Yongping should be given a lighter punishment, and the above judgment was made.
