Launched in 2016, the Kia Niro was available in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric versions.

Announcing the start of the manufacturer's transition, it will soon be replaced by a new generation which has been announced on social networks.

Unlike the EV6, the new Niro should be based on a platform developed for thermal engines.

At this stage, it is unclear whether it will be offered 100% electric again.

The photo released by Kia shows how close it is aesthetically to the HabaNiro concept presented in 2019. Available with two-tone paint, the Niro will feature the new grille of the brand's latest models, and its interior will be very inspired. from that of the EV6.

It will soon be presented at the Seoul Mobility Show.
