  On November 17, the reporter walked into the town of Camellia oleifera in Pingan, Changning, Hunan, to experience the ancient method of oil extraction known as the living fossil of traditional handicrafts, and feel the new vision of rural revitalization.

  "Changning tea oil" is the country's first tea oil product protected by a national geographical indication.

The town of Ping An Camellia oleifera has a total area of ​​300,000 acres, of which more than 200,000 acres are Camellia oleifera forests. It is one of the main producing areas of Camellia oleifera in Changning.

Ping An ancient method of oil extraction includes multiple processes such as seed harvesting, seed grinding, bran steaming, cake stamping, and oil extraction.

In recent years, with the scent of matcha oil, the local area has not only opened up the oil tea industry chain, but also set off an upsurge in the development of cultural tourism economy.
