The announcement of the deals came today, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Military Organizing Committee of the exhibition, Major General Staff Pilot Ishaq Saleh Al Balushi, and the official spokesman for the Dubai Airshow, Lt. Col. Pilot Sarah Hamad Al Hajari.

According to the announcement of the seven deals, the first deal was contracted with the American company “alliant techsystems operations LLC” to purchase munitions supplements for the Air Force and Air Defense Command at a value of 175 million and 863 thousand dirhams, while in the second deal a contract was made with the company “global industrial & defense solutions gids.” Pakistan to purchase various munitions for the Air Force and Air Defense Command, at a value of 143 million and 981 thousand dirhams.

A third deal was also concluded with the local company "ammroc advanced military maintenance repair and center" to provide consultancy and technical support, including spare parts for a period of three years, at a value of 120 million and 845 thousand dirhams, while a fourth deal was concluded with the French company "dassault aviation" to provide technical support services. for Air Force and Air Defense systems, with a value of 149 million and 123 thousand dirhams.

The fifth deal was signed with the local “international technical systems trading” company to purchase devices and equipment for the Air Force Command and Air Defense aircraft, at a value of 677 million and 315 thousand dirhams, while the sixth deal was signed with the local “Abu Dhabi Airports” company to provide ground handling services and logistical support to the Air Force Command bases. worth 108 million dirhams.

The seventh deal was signed with "aliant techsystems operations llc" to purchase munitions supplements for the US Air Force and Air Defense Command, with a value of 367 million and 300 thousand dirhams.

Following the completion of the announcement of the deals held between the Ministry of Defense and defense companies specialized in the field of aviation, Al Balushi said that the current year's exhibition is distinct from the previous ones.

For her part, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Sarah Al-Hajri pointed out that the Dubai Airshow, in its last session in 2019, had a total value of 18 billion dirhams, while the exhibition in its 2021 edition exceeded this value.
