The Ministry of Finance confirmed the strength of the strategic partnership between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman in various fields, especially financial, economic and investment, which is evident through the figures and statistical data for the year 2020, explaining that the number of Omani investors in public joint stock companies registered with the Securities and Commodities Authority in the country reached 11,812 Omani investors, while the number of licenses for economic activities granted to Omani citizens in the UAE reached 449 during the past year.

The ministry added, in a report on the occasion of the 51st Omani National Day, that the volume of trade exchange between the UAE and the Sultanate amounted to 42.3 billion dirhams in 2020, which embodies the strength of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

And she indicated that real estate deals in the country continued to record good performance rates, attracting more Omani investors wishing to enter the UAE real estate market. Omani real estate owners in the UAE have 2,374 Omani citizens.

The ministry stated that the number of Omanis working in the private sector in the country amounted to 3,375 in 2020, while their number in the government sector reached 1,163 Omani citizens.
