Cargo operations continued to perform well during the third quarter, with business volumes reaching the levels they were in 2019.

Dubai International Airport recorded 581,972 tons of cargo in the third quarter, bringing the total volume for the first nine months of 2021 to 1.7 million tons, an annual increase of 25.3%.

Flight growth

Air traffic in the third quarter reached 56,266 flights at Dubai International Airport, bringing the number of flights registered between January and September to 155,706 flights, an increase of 17.1%.
