One glance is enough to see that the Subaru Solterra is the twin brother of the Toyota bZ4X.

Its mechanical configuration is therefore identical: it will be available in traction with a single engine of 204 hp (265 Nm) and with all-wheel drive thanks to 2 engines developing a total of 217 hp (336 Nm).

With a battery with a capacity of 71.4 kWh, the Solterra should have a range of around 450 km.

With its on-board charger, it can go up to 6.6 kW in alternating current, but it can reach 150 kW in direct current (fast charge).

The commercialization of this electric SUV is expected to begin in mid-2022.
