18,700 tons of elements already contracted by Korean companies in China are expected to enter Korea soon. At the same time, the government said that if you add up the supplies from other countries, including Vietnam, and those already in Korea, the amount will be enough for the next three months, the government said. Today's (10th) news will be dealt with in detail starting with the number of elements.

First news, this is reporter Han Ji-yeon.

<Reporter> The

government said, "Our companies have already signed a contract, but we have confirmed that the export process of 18,700 tons of urea, which has been tied to Chinese customs, will proceed."

Separately, 2,700 tons of industrial elements departed from Qingdao Port in China this morning, and 300 tons of automotive elements are also scheduled to depart on the 18th.

In addition to the 200 tons of urea that Vietnam agreed to import next week, we have secured an additional 5,000 tons.

If we add up the amount of domestic stocks identified through on-site inspection and the amount of stockpiles released by the military, the government believes that we have secured three months' worth of use by the beginning of next year.

[Government official: (When will it arrive from China?) I only know that it will be brought in soon. (The Vietnamese element) may or may not be used for vehicles. You'll have to check it out. If not, I think it will have to be used for industrial purposes later.]

27,000 liters of urea water imported from Australia will be brought in through a military transport aircraft within tomorrow and used for urgent needs such as civilian ambulances.

The military base stockpile is supplied to import and export container trucks through 32 gas stations near major ports such as Busan, Incheon, Gwangyang, Pyeongtaek, and Ulsan.

As the government urgently needed to collect urea and urea quantities from each country and domestically, the shortage of urea was over for once.

The government has decided to implement emergency supply and demand adjustment measures for urea water producers and sellers, and to integrate management like in the case of the mask crisis.

In addition, crackdown on stalls has been strengthened, such as arresting a gas station in Busan that was storing 3,750 liters of urea water and taking accusations.
