An accident occurred in which the personal information of 1,600 applicants for the SK Group Recruitment Test was leaked to the outside.

SK announced today (9th) through the 'We will inform you' that "the fact that some pages in the manager's site of an external evaluation agency operating the SKCT (SK Comprehensive Competency Test), a group recruitment test, were exposed to the outside on the 4th. We recognized it through a report,” he said.

SK immediately took measures such as blocking external access to the page and restricting server and DB access.

However, SK reported that as a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that the personal information of 1,600 people had already been exposed.

Of these, the personal information of about 1,300 people was confirmed by the reporter during the reporting process.

The personal information exposed to the outside consists of 7 items, including name, date of birth, gender, exam number, results by area, test date and time, and application company.

Mobile phone numbers and email addresses are not included, SK said.

The exact period of the leak is currently under investigation by the relevant agency, the Korea Internet & Security Agency.

SK posted an apology on the SK recruitment portal this morning and notified applicants whose personal information was leaked through problem messages and emails.

We plan to operate a separate counseling window for inquiries such as suspected damage.

SK plans to report it to the relevant authorities today and begin efforts to identify the cause and prevent recurrence.

The cause of the personal information leak was not hacking, but a management mistake, SK said.

SK said, "We bow our heads and apologize for the exposure of applicants' valuable personal information."
