There are many things that only become valuable when they are lacking, but these days the number of elements is the same. Amid the so-called 'urea water crisis', the government held an emergency meeting and announced that it would import 20,000 liters from Australia. It was also decided to deploy military transport aircraft.

This is the first news reporter Im Tae-woo.

<Reporter> The

government announced this week that it will urgently import 20,000 liters of urea water for vehicles from Australia to put out an urgent fire.

A domestic company recently signed a contract with a local company, and decided to use a military transport plane for quick transport.

a place where there is urgent demand.]

China, which has practically stopped exporting urea, has requested a prompt customs inspection of tens of thousands of tons already contracted with Korean companies.

The Ministry of Environment is testing and analyzing whether the number of industrial elements possessed by the domestic industry can be converted into vehicles, and whether it is possible will be revealed as early as next week.

The act of hoarding elements and the number of elements is prohibited from tomorrow (the 8th).

The government is planning to launch a joint crackdown immediately, and if caught, it is punishable by up to three years in prison or a fine of up to 100 million won.

The Japanese crackdown on illegal automobiles, which was going to start tomorrow, has been postponed until the supply and demand of urea is stabilized.

[Pilsu Kim/Professor, Department of Automobile, Daelim University: If the livelihood truck stops in the front line within 2 or 3 months, the aftereffects will inevitably increase the economic wrinkles, so it is very important to supply enough urea water within 2 or 3 months. ] In

addition to short-term supply and demand measures, the government is planning to establish mid- to long-term measures such as securing domestic urea production facilities and diversifying import sources to prevent this shortage from reoccurring.

However, 20,000 liters of urea from Australia, which we decided to import this time, is insufficient to meet the demand for 2 million domestic diesel trucks, so additional measures are needed.
