Today, the Emirates Pilot Training Academy announced the opening of admission to UAE nationals, residents and international applicants to join the Junior Pilot Training Program, noting that ambitious Emirati youths wishing to join the National Pilot Program can submit their applications via the website: (https: //applications.emiratesflighttrainingacademy.com/)

In an exclusive initiative by Emirates Airlines towards the Emirates Pilot Training Academy, graduates will have the opportunity to apply for a position as a “second officer” pilot with Emirates Airlines, provided that interested candidates are required to pass the interviews and selection process specified by the carrier.

Emirates said in a statement that interested international applicants, as well as state citizens and residents, can benefit from the competitive tuition fee for two years, which covers training materials, accommodation, meals, uniforms and other expenses.

She added that UAE nationals looking to obtain a pilot job may have the opportunity to be selected for a fully sponsored pilot training programme.

The airline indicated that the Emirates Pilot Training Academy continuously reviews applications, and receives new students in batches, once every two months.

“At Emirates Airlines, we are constantly exploring opportunities to support and launch programs in the aviation industry, and we are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to graduates of the Emirates Pilot Training Academy,” said Adel Al Reda, Emirates Chief Operating Officer.

In turn, the Vice President of the Emirates Pilot Training Academy, Captain Abdullah Al Hammadi, said, “Despite the exceptional circumstances since the spread of the pandemic, the demand for pilots will continue to grow globally and the region, and we at the Emirates Pilot Training Academy are committed to providing the most efficient programs using the latest Aircraft, technologies and training methods.

It is noteworthy that the Emirates Pilot Training Academy is located in Dubai South, and it covers an area of ​​164,000 square meters (the area of ​​200 football fields), and includes 36 modern classrooms and new generation simulators.

It also owns 27 single-engine Cirrus SR22 G6 aircraft and Embraer Phenom 100EV light jets.

The academy also has a special runway 1,800 meters long with lighting and navigational signals, an independent air traffic control tower, in addition to a rescue and firefighting service and a maintenance center.

The Academy adopts a four-pronged approach to training its students: interactive theoretical learning in the classroom using advanced digital content and immersive virtual reality technology, experiential learning on modern training aircraft, the use of advanced flight simulators, and model-oriented training to meet the requirements of airlines.

The Emirates Pilot Training Academy has also developed an innovative curriculum, from learning to fly the single-engine Cirrus SR22 G6 aircraft to applying directly to the Phenom 100EV light jet, providing students with more jet experiences.

The students of the most recent batch of pilots who graduated in December 2020 have spent more than 6000 flying hours during their training at the academy.



Graduates obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) on a multi-engine aircraft.

Training takes between 21-24 months.



Emirati and international students are offered accommodation in modern accommodation facilities, including sports and leisure facilities.

The academy accommodates up to 600 students in various stages.
