Development of a system that analyzes images and images with AI = artificial intelligence and uses them for marketing of commercial facilities and safety management of factory sites is in progress.

Konica Minolta, a precision equipment manufacturer, has developed a system that analyzes visitors from images from cameras installed in commercial facilities in collaboration with Marubeni.

AI can be used to analyze the people shown in the video while giving consideration to privacy, and the number, gender, and age of people who visited the facility can be analyzed, which can be used for marketing.

At the commercial facility in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, it was possible to accurately grasp the customer base and the time of congestion, which led to the attraction of tenants.

Shinichi Motozawa, director of Kawaguchi Casty, said, "The attributes of visitors to the museum have become broader, deeper, and more understandable. I think that improving the accuracy of information will help promote product sales."

On the other hand, Toshiba is developing a system in which AI analyzes images and answers when you enter a question such as "Are you wearing a hat?"

By utilizing the system, we hope to prevent mistakes and oversights in the work for safety confirmation that has been performed visually at construction sites and factories.

The company is aiming for practical use by the next fiscal year, and efforts to analyze and utilize images and videos with AI are likely to expand further.
