China News Service, Beijing, November 4 (Reporter Liu Yuying) The October 2021 China Express Development Index report released by the State Post Bureau on the 4th predicts that the express delivery business volume in October will grow by about 25% year-on-year, and the monthly business volume will exceed 100 Billion pieces, the revenue of express delivery business grew at around 24% year-on-year.
The report believes that the main reasons for the accelerated expansion of the express delivery industry in October are the continuous release of online consumption vitality during the National Day holiday, the second is that the delivery of agricultural products has become a bright spot, and the third is that platform pre-sales advance the "Double 11" peak season.
As the "Double 11" approach approaches, major e-commerce platforms have opened pre-sale channels during peak seasons. Online sales have increased significantly, and express delivery business volume has risen slightly. Since late October, the average daily express delivery business volume has been around 350 million.
The report predicts that the online retail sales of physical goods supported by express delivery services will exceed RMB 900 billion in October.
In order to better meet the needs of peak seasons, express companies have increased investment in infrastructure construction and automation transformation. Warehousing distribution centers in Fenyang, Guangxi, Nanning, Baoding, Hebei, and Shangrao, Jiangxi have been put into operation, and smart industrial parks in Urumqi, Xinjiang have been officially launched. Inauguration, the construction of smart industrial parks in Chaozhou, Guangdong and Shaodong, Hunan and other places started.
In terms of air transportation, another B-220Z all-cargo aircraft has completed the passenger conversion. The express industry’s own all-cargo aircraft fleet has been further expanded. Charter flights such as "Liege-Wuhan" and "Shenzhen-Paris" have been opened successively, serving as cross-border flights. Delivery provides effective protection.
In terms of railways, the Chengdu China-Europe train has been launched smoothly, which can provide end-to-end integrated logistics services for manufacturing enterprises and cross-border e-commerce customers.
