  This is the largest long-term LNG agreement signed by China and the United States so far.

Vige LNG will supply LNG long-term contract resources to Sinopec through its Prakmens County project in Louisiana.

  In addition, Sinopec's united petrochemical company will purchase a total of 3.8 million tons of LNG resources from the Calcasieu Pass project of Viji LNG.

  Sinopec President Ma Yongsheng told Xinhua News Agency that the signing of a package of LNG purchase and sales agreement with Vige demonstrates the high consensus of the two companies to help the global energy transition, and is of great significance to the realization of the "dual carbon" goal.

  Mike Sabel, CEO of Vige LNG, said that Vige is very pleased to cooperate with Sinopec. This cooperation is conducive to providing China with low-cost, reliable and safe clean energy and assisting China's energy transition.
