At the meeting, Cong Liang, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, introduced that the country has done the following five tasks in promoting the implementation of the strategy.

The fourth is to focus on major projects and strive to build a number of iconic projects.
Accelerate the completion of a number of landmark projects with high visibility and strong driving force in the fields of innovation and co-construction, transportation interconnection, ecological co-protection, and people's livelihood sharing.
The fifth is to focus on forming a joint force and establish and improve an integrated working mechanism.
Study and establish an integrated development statistical indicator monitoring system and data sharing mechanism.
Cong Liang said that in the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will strengthen the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development Plan.
