The American company, "Boeing", stated that it will display its range of commercial, defense and service aircraft at the "Dubai Airshow 2021", this month, in addition to launching its latest, most fuel-efficient wide-body aircraft, the 777X, for the first time in the world.

The company added in a statement, "In the context of the Dubai Airshow program, a (777-9) experimental aircraft will fly in the sky, and then it will be displayed on the exhibition grounds."

The 777X is the latest class of twin-aisle aircraft from Boeing, which was developed based on the 777.

According to Boeing, the 777X will be the largest and most efficient twin-engine jet aircraft with 12% lower fuel consumption and 10% lower operating costs than competing aircraft.

This model family includes the 777-8X and 777-9X, which are designed to meet the needs of the market.

The 777-9X offers new opportunities for the growth of airlines, as it accommodates between 400 and 425 passengers and has a flight range of more than 14,000 km.

In addition, the fourth generation of wings made of composite materials in the 777X aircraft is longer than the wings of the current 777 aircraft, as the hooked and foldable wing tip, in addition to increasing the distance between the wings, contributes to greater efficiency and savings. Fuel-saving with full compatibility with airport gates.

The aircraft will also offer larger windows, a wider cabin, a new lighting system, as well as an enhanced engineering architecture, according to Boeing.

"The Dubai Airshow is an ideal opportunity to come together and remind the world of the importance of our industry and discuss new technologies and innovations that are critical to promoting a more sustainable aviation industry in the long run," said Colgate Gata-Ora, President of Boeing Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
