In a press release, the LR president of the metropolis Martine Vassal announces that a government amendment providing for the release of one billion euros to develop public transport in Marseille and its metropolis.
When presenting his plan for Marseille, President Emmanuel Macron pledged to invest one billion euros in Marseille transport, including 250 million in the form of a public subsidy.
"Thanks to this major financial assistance, we can accelerate the projects to open up the north of Marseille and significantly improve travel throughout the metropolitan area", welcomes the President.
