Last month, exports exceeded $55.5 billion, the second highest in the history of the month.



The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced today (1st) that the amount of exports in October increased by 24% compared to the same period last year to reach $55.55 billion.



This is the second largest since 1956, when trade statistics began to be compiled, and the highest ever recorded in October.



The previous monthly high was $55.83 billion in September.



As a result, monthly exports increased for 12 consecutive months, and the trade balance reached $1.69 billion, recording a surplus for the 18th consecutive month.



Imports rose 37.8% to $53.86 billion.



Exports have continued to record $50 billion in a row since March, and the number-one export performance for the month was also renewed for eight consecutive months.
