At the meeting, Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, introduced the progress of preparations for the 4th CIIE.

　　"At present, the preparations for the 4th CIIE National Exhibition, Enterprise Exhibition, Hongqiao Forum, and supporting activities are basically in place." Sun Chenghai introduced that a total of 58 countries and 3 international organizations participated in the National Exhibition, from 127 Nearly 3,000 exhibitors from countries and regions appeared at the company exhibition, and the number of countries and companies exceeded the previous one.

The enterprise exhibition continued to set up six exhibition areas for food and agricultural products, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical equipment and medicine and health care, and service trade. The total exhibition area was further expanded to 366,000 square meters.

　　Sun Chenghai introduced that buyers from all over the country signed up actively. A total of 39 trading groups and 599 sub-groups attended the meeting to carry out professional procurement.
