The company said that "due to the increase in gas production by Gazprom in 2021, about a third of the increase in gas consumption in the world can be covered."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on the resource potential of Yamal, asked Gazprom, after pumping gas into Russian underground storage facilities, to start work on increasing the volume of gas in European UGS facilities.
