• Light The Government turns the bill upside down again

The Vice President of Ecological Transition,

Teresa Ribera

, travels urgently to

Algiers

this Wednesday

to address the supply to Spain after the closure of the Maghreb gas pipeline to Europe.

The vice president, who according to the Spanish Executive will be received by members of the Algerian Government, without specifying rank, will

try to ensure that our country will receive the same amount of gas as was planned

before the closure of the gas pipeline that crosses Morocco and with whom Algeria has broken relations. Algeria requires Spain that the gas it supplies does not end up in the Alawite country again and Spain needs to be certain that it will face the winter with the gas necessary to satisfy internal demand.

The Foreign Minister,

José Manuel Albares

, already traveled to Algeria at the beginning of October and assured, upon his return, that the gas supply to Spain was guaranteed.

Also the President of the Government,

Pedro Sánchez

, spoke in the same direction last week, something that seems to contrast with Ribera's surprise trip announced for this Wednesday.
