  The list shows that in the first three quarters of Shanghai, the per capita disposable income of residents reached 58,907 yuan, approaching the 60,000 yuan mark, and continued to rank first.

Statistics show that in the first three quarters of Shanghai, the per capita consumption expenditure of residents was 35,499 yuan, which was also the highest in the country.

Top three echelons of per capita disposable income

  From the income list of residents, the first echelon is Shanghai and Beijing.

In the first three quarters of Beijing, the per capita disposable income of residents was 56,498 yuan, second only to Shanghai.

Shanghai and Beijing are also two regions with "50,000 yuan echelon".

  The second echelon is Zhejiang.

In the first three quarters of Zhejiang, the per capita disposable income of residents was 44,712 yuan, ranking third, and it was also the only area with a "40,000 yuan echelon".

  The third echelon includes Tianjin, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Fujian.

In the first three quarters of Tianjin, the per capita disposable income of residents was 37,572 yuan, Jiangsu was 36,227 yuan, Guangdong was 35,694 yuan, and Fujian was 31,781 yuan, all of which belonged to the "30,000 yuan echelon."

The disposable income of residents in 9 provinces exceeds the national level

  According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters, the national per capita disposable income was 26,265 yuan, a nominal increase of 10.4% over the same period of the previous year; after deducting price factors, the actual increase was 9.7%, basically in line with GDP growth.

  Compared with the national level, the per capita disposable income of residents in Shanghai, Beijing, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Shandong, and Liaoning outperformed the national level.

  Fang Xiaodan, director of the Household Survey Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, pointed out that in the first three quarters, the national per capita wage income was 14,917 yuan.

The steady growth of wage income has played a "ballast stone" role in increasing residents' income.

  In the first three quarters, the national economy continued to recover, the employment priority policy continued to be strengthened, and market demand for labor increased. The employment situation of urban and rural residents was stable and improving. The urban surveyed unemployment rate has generally declined since February. The minimum wage standard has been raised in some areas and rural areas have been employed. The average monthly wage level of the labor force has rebounded, and the wage income of residents has increased steadily.

  As residents' income continues to grow and the epidemic situation continues to improve, residents' consumer demand is gradually released, and consumer spending continues to rebound.

  According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters, the national per capita consumption expenditure was 17,275 yuan, a nominal increase of 15.8% on the basis of a 3.5% drop in the same period of the previous year; after deducting price factors, the actual increase was 15.1%.

  Compared with the national level, the per capita consumption expenditure of residents in the eight provinces of Shanghai, Beijing, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Fujian, and Chongqing exceeded the national level in the first three quarters.
