According to the Japan Franchise Association, last month's sales of convenience stores nationwide totaled 878.6 billion yen at existing stores that have been open for over a year, up 0.6% from the same month last year.

Sales exceeded the previous year for the first time in two months, capturing demand for corona stagnation, strong sales of liquor and desserts, and the last-minute demand for cigarettes, which was raised this month. It is a factor.

On the other hand, compared to September, the number of stores has increased, but overall sales have decreased, and the level has not yet returned to the level before the spread of the infection.

According to the Japan Franchise Association, "The unit price per customer has exceeded last year, and we would like to pay attention to the trend in the number of customers due to the cancellation of the state of emergency."
