The Ministry of Community Development is participating in the 41st GITEX exhibition “GITEX Technology Week 2021” with a set of technical achievements for the ministry’s work teams, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, in the framework of providing more qualitative and proactive services to all categories of the ministry, embodying the vision of developing digital services, and achieving speedy access to the All segments of society.

At GITEX 2021, the new partnership to be signed with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is shedding light on accelerating the service of the Ministry of Community Development's customers who are applicants for the marriage grant, by providing the bank statement with the least effort and in record time, without the need to visit the bank, which contributes to providing Smooth and simple customer journey.

The Ministry's initiatives include the digital quality of life platform, which is part of the digital quality of life program, and seeks to raise awareness about digital risks and challenges, and promote the safe and positive use of digital technologies and the Internet.

The platform includes several axes, including: electronic footprint, digital privacy, electronic games, electronic bullying, and other axes.

Since its launch at the beginning of this year, the number of visits to the platform has reached 383,000, and the platform can be accessed through the website: www.digitalwellbeing.ae.

It is also known as the cybersecurity awareness test, whether for adults or children. The test can be obtained through the electronic security platform on the ministry's website. After passing the test, the ministry issues an electronic certificate to the participant.

The platform reveals the Ministry's new application, which is a unified mobile application provided by the Ministry on iOS and Android platforms, with the purpose of integrating the Ministry's services for various segments of customers and employees, in one application.

The ministry also sheds light on the analyzes and control panels shared with the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics, which display big data for people of determination and senior citizens.

The protection package also reviews the “Son” application, which is a smart application for early detection of potential abuse against any individual by answering a set of questions that show the extent to which the person is subjected to harm, then providing him with the action he can take, and the responsible party.

At GITEX, the ministry presents the ministry's services platform that is in line with modern technologies, and is always looking to increase the use of technology in the context of providing the best services to employees in a safe and flexible manner.

During GITEX, the ministry also acquainted the public with the mechanisms for registering in Fazaa for senior citizens, which is a proactive service to provide the Fazaa card for senior citizens.

It also displays the community integration platform, which aims to provide an integrated umbrella for the social care sector at the state level, and contributes to providing real-time data for beneficiaries of social services.

This platform is the result of the efforts of more than 50 federal and local authorities, and serves more than 150,000 customers at the state level.

As for the smart management platform for associations, the Ministry provides it to associations of public interest and civil institutions to carry out the electronic voting process. It uses blockchain technology that provides a high level of information security and ensures transparency of electronic voting results. Each person authorized to vote creates his own electronic wallet, enable him to vote, and ensure that no other party can alter the election results.

The smart management system project for associations of public interest was designed to achieve a set of benefits for the various parties involved in the project, and to address a number of challenges facing the Ministry’s employees, as the project worked to provide an integrated “financial and administrative” database on private sector institutions.
